NVA offers managed vision care programs that adapt to your clients’ unique needs. Our high-quality, low-cost vision benefit programs offer the flexibility to deliver any type of benefit design and funding arrangement.

We are committed to helping people understand their options so they can make better vision care choices. We can match current plan designs or recommend customized options based on actuarial analyses. Some popular selections include:

• No member out-of-pocket expenses for comprehensive eye exams
• Fixed member co-pays; plan co-pays are paid to the provider when services are rendered
• Pay the difference on either a wholesale or retail basis on member purchases for products and services from network providers exceeding the plan’s allowance
• Members have freedom of choice—aka the option to receive an eye examination with one provider and obtain corrective materials from a different provider or optical retailer
• Allow members to receive benefits from out-of-network providers

For those that want a vision benefit plan, but not a comprehensive one, NVA provides the following options:

• EYEESSENTIAL PLUS^® combines the advantages of a covered, comprehensive vision examination (co-pay may apply) with the flexibility of significant discounts on lenses, frames, and contact lenses
• EYEESSENTIAL^® an affordable discount vision program offering participants significant discounts on lenses, frames, and contact lenses
